I could say I'm free
But I can't even tell
How much of a lie that'd be.
I could say I'm cheerful
As gay as any bird
But if I did, that'd be
The worst lie you'd ever heard
Some might say I'm emo
Some might say depressed
Either way I'm mellow
And far from being repressed
I could say I'm sad
Or down in the dumps
But to tell the truth, it's not that bad
Taking all the lumps
